Prior to any removal being carried out Southwest Metal Roofing ensure that a work safe analysis has been carried out, and a Safe work method statement (SWMS) has been completed and signed by all that is involved.

We ensure all asbestos hazard signage is displayed and that all neighbours are notified about the time of the procedure.

Before we commence any removal we make sure that all ventilation systems, to include airconditioning evaporative units, flue pipes and all vents have been sealed in plastic.

• For asbestos with flaky paint and exposed fibres, we ensure that the entire roof is sprayed with pva glue to seal the fibres and prevent contamination.
• All asbestos is carefully removed and double plastic wrapped with duct tape and labelled asbestos .
• All small debris are gathered up and bagged to ensure that the area is clean sealed and made safe.
• All dust remaining in the roof is hepa vacuumed and pva spray sealed,  for your peace of mind.
